After the passing of her grandfather, Jasmine and her friends travel to his old workshop to gather his former belongings. Things quickly start to go awry once Jasmine’s friends begin to notice that she is not acting like herself. They quickly learn that there is a larger purpose for being there.

This is the spec spot that I discussed during our meeting. My idea for the project was to create a piece focused on minimalism to help sell Japanese selvedge denim for a made up brand. Origami Denim is an exercise in style and function.

Working with multi-instrumentalist and creative talent, -topic, is always a blast. The goal for this shoot was to produce a quick spot that highlights both the artist and the musical equipment company, KORG. It was a great opportunity to flex my sound design muscles while creating a portrait that is true to the form.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with musician, Kirk Thurmond, and his family at his home in Oak Cliff awhile back. During my time there we drank some beers and rolled on some Super8 while capturing verite moments set to diegetic tunes
